Program for Elemental Technologies and Seeds Creation

This is a program for R&D on technologies that fall under TRL1-3 (Note 1) at the start of the project, and take a certain period of time until social implementation. The program mainly targets R&D (including international joint research) to establish elemental technologies and create technology seeds from a medium- to long-term perspective.

It is implemented as a commissioned project, and the scale of support per project (national expenditure) is expected to be around 100 million yen per year (up to several hundred million yen).
